seetao.com learned from China Petroleum Engineering that recently, China Petroleum Engineering Construction Co., Ltd. and West Africa Crude Oil Pipeline (Benin) Co., Ltd. signed the design, procurement, construction and trial of the Benin section of the Niger-Benin crude oil pipeline project. The operation and production service contract, the contract value is about 2.494 billion yuan, and the contract period is 42 months (including a 12-month warranty period).
According to the contract, the main construction content includes a newly built pipeline with a length of about 675km and a design pressure of 9MPa. The steel pipe uses X65 steel grade spiral submerged arc welded steel pipe with a pipe diameter of 508mm and a wall thickness of 7.1mm, with a 3LPE anticorrosive layer. The special crossing section is a straight seam pipe. Along the line, there are 1 terminal station, 2 intermediate pump stations, 24 valve chambers, 4 large river (wetland) directional drilling crossings, 1 large excavation crossing, 2 railway crossings, 12 grade road crossings, and stone blasting 36.5 kilometers, and supporting electric, signal and instrument systems.
Due to the strong professionalism and technical difficulty of petroleum engineering design and engineering construction, and high requirements for relevant engineering qualifications, the upstream and downstream market participants are relatively fixed, mainly customers in the petroleum and petrochemical industry. In the course of decades of industry development, the company’s subsidiaries have been providing CNPC and its subsidiaries with oil and gas field surface engineering construction, refining and chemical engineering construction, pipeline and storage tank engineering construction, and offshore engineering services. Formed a long-term and stable cooperative relationship. Maintaining connected transactions with China National Petroleum Corporation and its subsidiaries provides the company with a long-term and stable petroleum engineering construction service market, which helps to achieve the company's rapid development.
