Zubair Oil Field is located in southern Iraq, 20 kilometers southwest of Basra City, with an oil field area of approximately 60x15 kilometers. There are currently 5 degassing stations and 1 metering station, which are developed by the consortium. The leader of the Italian company Eni accounts for 41.56% , South Korea’s natural gas accounted for 23.75%, Basra’s oil accounted for 29.69%, and the Iraqi government 5%. The initial production capacity is 470,000 barrels/day (approximately 24 million tons/year), and the designed production capacity is 700,000 barrels/day (approximately 35 million tons/year). ).

China National Petroleum Engineering and Construction Corporation and Eni signed an EPCC+OM (design, procurement, construction, trial operation and commissioning + operation and maintenance) contract for the Zubair degassing station.
