"Publicity", disclosed the relevant plans of two inter-city railways, and the publicity period is from August 11 to August 17, 2021.

Fangcun to Baiyun Airport Project

The Intercity between Fangcun and Baiyun Airport is a recent implementation project in the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Intercity Railway Construction Plan". The capital area ends at Baiyun Airport. The line has a total length of 41.1 kilometers, is laid underground, and has 10 stations, all of which are transfer stations. The line uses 8 marshalled city-area type D vehicles, with a design speed of 160 kilometers per hour, and inter-city operation with Guangzhou east to Huadu Tiangui.

According to the announcement, the total investment of this project is 38.130 billion yuan, and the transfer reservation project with related planned lines will be implemented simultaneously, and the investment will be apportioned according to the project interface. In order to strengthen the integration of transportation and promote the integrated development of the station and the city, the intercity supporting construction of 6 station complexes between Fangcun and Baiyun Airport.

Guangzhou East to Huadu Project

Guangzhou East to Huadu Tiangui Intercity is a recent implementation project in the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Intercity Railway Construction Plan". The line starts at Guangzhou East Station (excluding) and passes through Tianhe District, Baiyun District, Airport Economic Zone Huadu District, stop at Xinbaiguang Intercity Huacheng Street Station. The total length of the line is about 39.6 kilometers, and it is laid underground. There are 7 stations, all of which are transfer stations, and 1 newly built line station is reserved for the planning of the Guangqing intercity connecting line. The line uses 8 marshalled city-area type D vehicles, with a design speed of 160 kilometers per hour, and intercity operation with Fangcun to Baiyun Airport.

In addition, the transfer reservation project between Guangzhou East to Huadu Tiangui Intercity and related planned lines will be implemented simultaneously, and the investment will be apportioned according to the project interface. In order to strengthen the integration of transportation and promote the integrated development of the station and city, Guangzhou is east to Huadu and Tiangui intercity supporting the construction of 4 station complexes. The total investment of the project is 33.055 billion yuan.
