On August 12, 2021, the second batch of major projects in Pingshan District, Shenzhen, and the launching ceremony of the 10 billion project creation plan were held at the Pingshan High School Park project site.

Top Ten Excellent Projects

The 10 billion project innovation plan launched this time has a total investment of about 15 billion yuan covering four major livelihood projects of education, medical care, culture and industry. Key livelihood projects mainly include the relocation and reconstruction of Pingshan District People’s Hospital, Pingshan High School Park, Kengzi Science and Technology Cultural Center, Pingshan District Third People’s Hospital, Pingshan District Archives, Fangzhiguan, Guangzu Middle School Expansion, Julong School, Pingshan District Committee Party School, Shenzhen Intelligent Networked Transportation Test Demonstration Platform, and Top Ten Projects of Jiangbian School. After the project is completed, it is expected to provide 17,580 degrees and 2,800 hospital beds for citizens.

Pingshan High School Park: The project is located in Biling Street, on the north side of Kehuan Road, and on the west side of Pingyan Passage. The total investment of the project is 2.238 billion yuan. Three high schools will be built according to classes 48, 54 and 60. The land area is about 178,000 square meters, and the building area is about 293,000 square meters. It includes 3 teaching buildings, 3 dormitory buildings, and 1 building. Library, 1 conference and performing arts hall, 1 gymnasium and underground parking lot. Pingshan High School Park is currently under construction and is scheduled to be completed on July 30 next year to ensure the start of school in September 2022. At that time, 8100 degrees will be provided to the public. The project is being implemented intensively and orderly as planned. 200,000 square meters of earthwork and more than 3,000 pipe piles have been completed. Relevant units in Pingshan District are fighting on the front line day and night to ensure that a satisfactory answer sheet is delivered to the public with high quality and quantity before the start of school in 2022.

Relocation and reconstruction of Pingshan District People’s Hospital: The project is located in the Shahu area of Biling Street, Pingshan District, east of Huangzhukeng Road and south of Kehuan Road. The total investment of the project is 5.043.5 billion yuan, the planned total number of beds in the hospital is 2,000, the total land area is 111,658.74 square meters, and the total construction area is 464,437.29 square meters. The main construction content includes the new medical technology complex, infection building, administrative dormitory, scientific research and teaching building, and basement. And bridge engineering, etc.

Kengzi Technology and Cultural Center: The project is located on the west side of Guangzu Park, Kengzi Street, Pingshan District, south of Jikang Road, and east of Hengping Road. The total investment of the project is 759.7 million yuan, the total land area is 17,399.87 square meters, and the total construction area is 72244.73 square meters. Newly build science and technology museums, bookstores, cultural centers, veteran activity centers, libraries, etc., basement projects, auxiliary projects outside the red line, outdoor projects, and other projects.

Concentrate on major projects

At the ceremony site, the second batch of major projects in Pingshan District was started intensively. This time there are 11 projects with a total investment of about 8.7 billion yuan, covering schools, transportation facilities, industrial parks, parks, etc., mainly including Pingshan District Archives and Local Records Museum. Pingshan District Children’s Park, Pingshan High School Park, Liulian Elementary School Expansion, Fuxing South Road, Shoutian Road, Xinjing Road Municipal Engineering, the middle section of Pingshan Avenue, Shenzhen Jingding Future Center, Amperon Smart Sensor Industrial Park and Liuhe Commercial Plaza Phase III and other projects.

Pingshan District Archives and Fangzhi Pavilion: The project is located on the southwest side of the intersection of Pingshan Avenue and Danzi Avenue (the north side of the district government building). The total investment of the project is 109910.15 million yuan, covering an area of 25,688 square meters, with a construction area of 110,006 square meters. The construction content includes comprehensive archives, urban construction archives, personnel archives, local chronicles, sports management center, data management center, meeting rooms, offices, etc.

Middle section of Pingshan Avenue: The project starts at Shahu Road (connected to the southern section of Pingshan Avenue) and ends at Danzi Avenue. The road grade is an urban arterial road with a total length of 6.36 kilometers, a red line of 60 meters wide, and 8 lanes in both directions. The total investment is 167.9162 million yuan. The main construction contents include: roads, geotechnical, transportation, bridges, water supply and drainage, electricity, gas, sponge city, integrated pipeline corridor, smart transportation, traffic monitoring, underpassing channel of Jinlong Avenue, river transformation and sewage interception, pipeline relocation , Traffic relief and water and soil conservation engineering, etc.

Amperon Smart Sensor Industrial Park: The total investment of the project is 497.7791 million yuan, the total land area is 14331.71 square meters, the capacity area is 70459 square meters, and the total construction area is about 100,000 square meters. After the project is completed, it can produce 15 million pressure sensors and 105 million temperature sensors annually.

Liuhe Commercial Plaza Phase II and Phase III: The project is located in the enclosed area of Shenshan Road, Lianwang Second Street, Dongzong Road and Yingchun Road, Pingshan Street, Pingshan District, with a total investment of 2.4 billion yuan. The demolition land area is 3,4016.3 square meters, and the development and construction land area is 24574.9 square meters.

The construction and handover ceremony of 7 schools was also held at the scene, including the Shenzhen School of Northeast Normal University and the two high-level high schools of Shenzhen University of Technology, Pingshan Innovation School of Shenzhen Middle School, Pingshan Experimental School of Northeast Normal University, and Dongzong of Pingshan District.
