On August 24, 2021, five companies competed for the Fengqiu to Kaifeng Yellow River Bridge project. The project is located in Fengqiu County, Yuanyang County, and Longting District of Kaifeng City, with a total investment of 4.5 billion yuan.

The project line starts on National Highway 327 (formerly Provincial Highway 311) on the west side of Fengqiu County and east of Zhanglu City Township (corresponding to the station number: K0+000). The proposed Fengqiu-Yuanyang Expressway will intersect with an interchange. It will reach the North Dike of the Yellow River in the north of Fengqiu County, enter Yuanyang County from the west side of Shunhe Street, and enter Kaifeng City after crossing the main channel of the Yellow River to the south of the Three Churches. At the west side of Huihuizhai, reach the Yellow River South Dike, and finally north of Daxinzhuang, Longting District, Kaifeng City, and connect with the starting point of the planned interchange connecting line between Thirteenth Avenue and Lianhuo Expressway in Kaifeng City (corresponding pile number: K24+ 194). The total length of the line is 24.194 kilometers, 16.729 kilometers from Xinxiang City, and 7.465 kilometers from Kaifeng City.

A total of 4 bridges are set up across the line, among which the Yellow River Bridge is 14701m/1, the connecting line project is 105m/1 bridge, and the middle bridge is 106m/2; 21 culverts; 2 interchanges (full use of 1 Set up 1 place); Set up 10 plane crossings; Set up 1 service area, 1 monitoring and communication sub-center, and 1 maintenance work area. One toll station can be set up in compliance with the procedures and related requirements of the government-private partnership (PPP) model, and with the consent of the provincial government. It has 24.194 kilometers of traffic engineering and facilities along the route.
