On August 25, 2021, the "New Shanghai-Yucheng High-speed Railway Wuhan-Yichang Section First Open Section Pre-Station Project WYZQ-5 (HBSJ-202108TL-043001001) Tender Announcement" was released, and the Jingmen First Section of the project will soon start construction. According to the tender notice, the construction of the Wuhan-Yichang section of the Yangtze River High-speed Railway is scheduled to start on September 30, 2021, with a construction period of 4 years. It is reported that the first section is located from Zhongxiang Hanjiang Bridge to Jingmen West Station, with a total length of about 47 kilometers.

Project Overview

The Wuhan-Yichang section of the Shanghai-Yucheng high-speed railway starts from Hankou Station, and uses the Han-Yi Railway and Wuhan Hub through line to pass through Hanchuan, Tianmen, Jingshan, Zhongxiang, Jingmen, Dangyang, and Yichang North Station to the west. The Yichang-Zhengwan high-speed rail link is connected. The main line connects the Hefei-Wuhan section with the newly built Lugang line station in the Wuhan hub. According to the preliminary design approval, the Lugang line to Hanchuan East Station section and the introduction of Wuhan Hub Hankou Station related projects are expected to start simultaneously with the Hefei to Wuhan section and the Wuhan Hub through line.

The total length of the line is 313.8 kilometers, of which 295.9 kilometers are newly built lines, with 8 stations including Hankou, Hanchuan East, Tianmen North, Jingshan South, Zhongxiang South, Jingmen West, Dangyang West, and Yichang North. The estimated total investment of the project is 52.27 billion yuan. It is the fastest and the first section of the main channel along the Yangtze River to start construction, and it is expected that the whole line will start before the end of the year.

The first section (Zhongxiang Hanjiang River Bridge DK168+976-Jingmen West Station (inclusive) DK216+180.85 DK168+976-Jingmen West Station (inclusive) DK216+180.85) has a 47.184km main line and is located in Jingmen City. The planned construction period is 1461 days, the start date is September 30, 2021, and the completion date is September 30, 2025. Estimated contract price: 4.2200 million yuan.

Scope of bidding

The section of the high-speed rail along the Yangtze River: the first section of the Wuhan-Yichang section of the newly built Shanghai-Chongqing-Chongqing high-speed rail is from DK168+976 to DK168+976-Jingmen West Station (inclusive) DK216+180.85, and the length of the main line is 47.184 kilometers. Among them, the prefabricated erection of the 23-hole simply supported beams of DK168+976～DK170+405.25 sections was purchased from the 4biao 8# beam field price, and the prefabricated erection of the 6-hole simply supported beams at Jingmen West Station was purchased from the 6biao 11# beam field price.

Jingmen West Railway Station Xiangjing Jingchang synchronously implements the offline project of the project. The range of synchronous implementation of the project is: the upward field (Xiangjing YDK116+671.43～Jingjing YDIK2+366.635) is 3.249 kilometers long, and the downward field (Xiangjing DK116+971.51～Jingjing) JingDIK2+402.645) is 2.991 kilometers long. Among them, the prefabricated single-track simple beam in Xiangjingjingchang is considered to be purchased from Jingjing Railway No.1 beam field price.
