It is reported that the Minister of Transport Development of Mongolia stated in the decision of the government meeting that the past two years have been two years of railway construction in Mongolia. Finished. The railway construction project in the direction of Gashusuhaitu-Tavin Tolgoi is underway and will be officially opened after the border railway station is completed in July next year. After the completion of the above-mentioned railway construction project, the Mongolian Railway Department will immediately implement the following 4 railway construction projects:

1. Construction of railways in the direction of Zongbayan-Hangji and Mandula will greatly increase the export of Mongolian mineral products.

2. Construct a 237-kilometer railway to the east in the direction of Qiaobashan-Hute and Biqigetu in Eastern Province. The construction of this line is planned to start in 2022.

3. The construction of a 1,280-kilometer railway to the west in the direction of Alchasoj-Sibkulun. To this end, it is necessary to revise the existing national policy documents related to the railway. Deliberated at the autumn meeting.

4. Construction of the Arishante Railway Station-Bogdhan direction railway. After years of discussion and research on this line, the project implementation unit can be selected not long ago, and the 135-kilometer roadbed project will be completed as soon as possible. The line plans to build 6 marshalling stations and 3 stations, as well as 2 underground tunnels each with a length of 9 kilometers and a length of 7 kilometers. It is estimated that approximately 19.3 million square meters of civil engineering will be completed, and the construction is scheduled to start in August 2021. The line is connected from the south of Bogdhan Mountain to the Maante station in the east. Although it was planned to connect the Bagahangai station in the early stage, the route was changed in consideration of factors such as the large number of underground mines in the Nalaiha area and the possible settlement. The Bagahangai station still maintains normal operation. The station is the main key station for coal transportation in Bagnaur-Ulaanbaatar. The transportation mode of goods entering the capital via the Bagahangai station remains unchanged. The government has authorized the state-owned enterprise "Tavan Tolgoi" (Tavan Tolgoi) to complete the line in the next five years.
