The facility will be engaged in the production of lithium-ion batteries for use in container energy storage systems (ESS). It is expected that the plant will be constructed in several stages. Once put into operation, its annual production capacity will be as high as 2GWh.
It will provide a full range of maintenance services, such as predictive maintenance, data analysis, and industrial Internet of Things (IoT) technical expertise, as well as engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), manufacturing and construction capabilities. The strategic partnership with Dura Power will enable Pozbud and Ermodis to produce "Made in Europe" container ESS products under the Dura Power brand.
It also formally regulates the interaction between Durabó, Pozbud, and Ermodis, and strengthens the existing relationship between the two countries at the strategic and working level. The partnership is expected to provide European energy companies with direct access to ESS alternative energy sources. It is expected that by 2050, it will also help reduce the carbon emissions of the entire region from current levels to 20%.
Kelvin Lim, CEO of Durapower, said: This cooperation strengthens our commitment to provide EU energy companies with alternatives to renewable energy procurement, to provide a localized supply chain of lithium-ion batteries and a high-quality after-sales experience, while promoting Achieve the goal of net zero carbon footprint. Lucas Voith, CEO of Pozbud, said: We are very happy to open alternative energy sources to Europe and develop the local supply chain through this new manufacturing facility.
