In order to further smooth the major international logistics channels and improve the efficiency and facilitation of the transit transportation of import and export goods on the domestic railway, the customs has launched the "Rapid Railway Customs Clearance" mode and launched it on a trial basis in the China-Vietnam train. Under the railway express mode, the enterprise sends an express express application to the customs based on the submitted international waybill. There is no need to go through customs procedures. The customs conducts verification, release and verification through the electronic data of the railway manifest. There is no need for inspection and verification after the train arrives at the port. You can directly marshal and leave the country when you transfer to customs for verification and write-off.

"This model reduces the waiting time of the train at the port. Enterprises can carry out manifest management, merging, repair and withdrawal at the local customs, which further reduces the logistics cost of the enterprise and effectively releases the efficiency of railway transportation customs supervision services." According to Liang Yan from Xiang Customs Supervision Division, after this mode is activated, the cost of customs clearance for each customs declaration form can be saved by 200-350 yuan.

"The railway express mode realizes the seamless connection of customs supervision and railway operations such as customs declaration review, railway marshalling and delivery, vehicle replacement, etc., and the overall operation efficiency of the train is greatly improved."
