Airport High Speed Rail

According to the preliminary design, the airport high-speed rail starts from the Shanghai-Hangzhou high-speed rail and the planned Shanghai-Zhahang Railway Tongxiang Station, passes through Jiaxing Haining City, Hangzhou Qiantang District and Xiaoshan District, and finally ends at the Hangzhou-Ningbo High-speed Railway and the Shaoxing North Station of the Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Taiwan Railway. The railway grade is high-speed railway, with 5 stations including Tongxiang Station, Haining Guanchao Station, Qiantang Station, Airport Station and Hangzhou South Station. Among them, the length of the connecting line from Hangzhou South Railway Station to the Airport Station is 13.668 kilometers, and the design speed is 160 kilometers per hour. The estimated total investment of the airport high-speed rail project is 37.955 billion yuan. It is planned to start at the end of 2021 and be completed by the end of 2025. The construction period is 4 years. The airport high-speed rail passes through Hangzhou, Shaoxing and Jiaxing, connecting multiple high-speed rail stations in series, which will extend the benefits to the whole of Zhejiang, and will also promote the further expansion of the radiation power of Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport.

By 2025, this high-speed rail linking Xiaoshan International Airport, Hangzhou South Railway Station, Qiantang High-speed Railway Station and other transportation hubs in Hangzhou, as well as Haining, Tongxiang and other places will be completed. By then, Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport will become a "sky into the earth". A large-scale comprehensive transportation hub, with multiple transportation modes such as aviation, railway, highway, subway, etc., forming a modern transportation hub of air-rail combined transportation.
