When the world moves forward at an explosive speed, only Antarctica is still walking at its own pace. Only in such inaccessible places can you understand the earth and humans more deeply.
The Antarctic continent is the most isolated continent in the world, surrounded by a vast ocean, and the ocean is covered by ice.

In this issue, we explore the footprints of Liugong excavators in Antarctica, and explore the mystery of this thousand-year-old sleepy world, like a fairy tale world of ice and snow.
In October 2012, in front of the Xuelong, the Liugong equipment donation ceremony for China's Antarctic scientific expedition opened the Liugong equipment and China's Antarctic scientific expedition.

In February 2013, the Zhongshan Station barge carried Liugong CLG856 loader and CLG922D excavator onto the Antarctic continent.
"Made in China" has shown its talents in the Antarctic scientific expedition. More than eight years have passed, and the two Liugong machines are still outstanding in the extreme environment of Antarctica.

In November 2014, Liugong TC250-4 was hoisted and loaded on board the Xuelong to start an Antarctic journey at the Shanghai Port Terminal.
In February 2015, Liugong TC250-4 was sent by barge to Zhongshan Station, China's Antarctic Research Station. In February 2016, Liugong TC250-4 boarded the Great Wall Station of China's Antarctic Research Station for the first time.
In addition to its own daily use, the Chinese Antarctic scientific expedition team will also receive support requests from other neighboring countries, and dispatch construction machinery and equipment to serve the scientific expedition team of friendly countries.

In January 2018, Liugong's CLG856 loader and 920E excavator landed on the Ross Sea in Antarctica for the first time to participate in the construction of the new station, and saw the familiar China Red again!
In December 2020, Liugong's CLG388B skid steer loader and aerial work vehicle began to serve in the Great Wall Station and Zhongshan Station of China's Antarctic Research Station!
In November 2021, Liugong will start a new Chinese Antarctic scientific expedition with new construction machinery and equipment!Editor/Baohongying
