On November 2, 2021, Beijing Construction Engineering Information Network announced the winning bid for the newly-built Nanchang East Station of Nanchang via Jingdezhen-Huangshan Railway (Jiangxi Section) and related projects. China Railway Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. won the project with 3.2 billion yuan.
Project Overview
The newly-built Nanchang-Huangshan Railway via Jingdezhen is located in northeastern Jiangxi and southern Anhui, starting from Nanchang City in Jiangxi Province in the west, passing through Shangrao City and Jingdezhen City in Jiangxi Province, and east to Huangshan City in Anhui Province. The total length of the main line is 289.807km, including 200.276km in Jiangxi Province and 89.531km in Anhui Province. The connecting line is 29.383km long, and the moving line is 9.57km long. The bridge-tunnel ratio of the main line is 87.31%. There are 10 stations in Huangshan North, Yixian East, Qimen South, Yaoli, Jingdezhen North, Huanggang Station, Poyang South, Yugan, Junshan Lake, and Nanchang East.
