On November 12, 2021, the "First Public Announcement of the Environmental Impact Assessment of the Jialu River-Dengfeng Section of the New Zhengzhou-Luoyang Intercity Railway" was officially released on the Zhengzhou Metro Company website. At present, the Jialuhe-Dengfeng section of the Zhengdengluo Intercity Railway, namely the K2 line of Zhengzhou City Express Line, is accelerating the pre-feasibility study of the project, and construction is expected to start in 2022.

The newly built Zhengzhou-Luoyang intercity railway line from Jialuhe to Dengfeng section starts from Dengfeng Shaolin Station in the west and reaches the Zhengkai Intercity Junction in the east, passing through Dengfeng City, Xinmi City, Erqi District, Zhongyuan District, Guancheng Hui District, and Jinshui District And Zhengdong New District. The length of the project is about 101km, of which the elevated line is about 54km, the underground line is about 38km, the roadbed section is about 6km, the mountain tunnel is about 2km, and the transition section is about 1km. There are 18 stations, including 6 elevated stations and 12 underground stations. There are 3 sites and 4 main substations.

It is understood that the Zhengzhou K2 city area express line is the new connecting channel of Zheng Bianluo. With its construction in the future, it will start another new starting point for Zhengzhou's construction of the metropolitan area on the track. Editor/He Yuting
