The Kenya Standard Gauge Railway is an early harvest project of the One Belt One Road Initiative. It consists of two parts, the Mombasa-Nairobi Railway and the Neima Railway, and has become an important component of East Africa's traffic arteries. As of September 30, 2021, the Kenya Standard Gauge Railway has been in safe operation for 1,584 days, transporting 6.185 million passengers and sending 1.4524 million standard containers.

The Kenya Standard Gauge Railway has put the Belt and Road Initiative into practice in Africa. The transportation capacity of this railway will be more demonstrated in the future, and it will play a strong role in boosting the economic development of East Africa.Editor/Baohongying
