The Saudi Industrial City and Technology Zone Authority (Modon) has signed an agreement with the Kingdom’s largest construction company, the Saudi Bin Laden Group, to develop an industrial city covering an area of 5 million square meters. The project aims to empower industry and increase local economic activity by 65% in terms of GDP.

According to the latest Arab news, the city will be located in the town of Bahra in Makkah Province. Modon CEO KhalidM.Al-Salem stated that the project is a step towards empowering the industry and increasing local economic activity by 65% in GDP, which is in line with Saudi Arabia's 2030 vision.
