On November 30, 2021, with the completion of the pouring of the mid-span closing section of the approach bridge, the Fuzhou-Xiamen High-speed Railway Quanzhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge, which was constructed by the Second Navigation Bureau, successfully completed the full bridge, marking the final sprint of the Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed rail construction .
The Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway starts from Fuzhou City, Fujian Province in the north, and reaches Xiamen City and Zhangzhou City in the south. The main line is about 277 kilometers long and has a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. Quanzhou Bay enters Jinjiang City, with a total length of about 27 kilometers, which is one of the most difficult bidding sections for the entire line.
Among them, the Quanzhou Bay Sea-crossing Bridge, a key control project on the entire line, is about 20 kilometers long, the sea bridge is 8.96 kilometers long, the main bridge is 800 meters long, and the main span is 400 meters. Pulling the bridge, the main bridge has achieved millimeter-level high-precision closure in early August 2021.
After the completion of the Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed rail, Fuzhou and Xiamen will realize a "one-hour living circle", further accelerating the economic and social development of the Haixi city group. At the same time, as an important extension of the Beijing-Fujian high-speed rail, the completion of the Fu-Xia high-speed rail will enable six cities in Fujian to achieve "high-speed rail access to Beijing", effectively solving the railway "bottleneck" problem in the southeast coastal area and promoting Fujian's rapid integration into the national high-speed rail network.Editor/Baohongying
