Create a modern comprehensive transportation system

Integrate into the East Guangdong transportation system from a high starting point. Vigorously promote the construction of transportation infrastructure, and create a multi-level and seamless transportation network with inter-provincial connectivity, inter-city connectivity, and urban dredging.

Taking the construction of "big transportation" as the starting point, taking advantage of the three-dimensional water, land and air transportation network and the central location of the eastern Guangdong urban agglomeration, overall planning of the transportation network, focusing on innovating traffic management methods, promoting the construction of smart transportation, and actively building a transportation hub in eastern Guangdong.

The eastern part makes full use of the advantages of transportation hubs adjacent to Jieyang Chaoshan International Airport, Xiamen-Shenzhen Railway Chaoshan Station, Shanmei Expressway, etc., and works together to promote the construction of the Guanghe Passenger Depot to Chaoshan Airport in the east, connect with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and help expand industry and urban agglomeration development space .

Strengthen the construction of road infrastructure in the west to achieve greater connectivity with Jiexi; promote the construction of fast passages from the western towns to the urban area of Jieyang, complement the shortcomings of urban transportation facilities; focus on the construction of the Jieyang-Huilai Railway (Jiedong Section) , To open up the connecting channel between Jiedong and Jieyang Port and the Dananhai Petrochemical Base.

Promote the connection between the northern part and Fengshun County, and accelerate the construction of the road network construction project in the Jieyang Station area of the Meishan Passenger Dedicated High-speed Railway. Align with the plan of Jieyang Avenue, open up a large channel connecting the central city, and promote the construction of the connection line from Jiedong City to Meishan Passenger Dedicated Jieyang Station, the extension of Beihuan Avenue to Sino-German Metal Eco-city, and the extension of Science and Technology Avenue to Jieyang Station of high-speed rail. Actively integrate into the Shan Chao Jie Metropolitan Area, and work together to advance the intercity railway project from Jieyang South to Chaoshan Airport. At the same time, it will promote the construction of comprehensive transportation projects and efficiently connect ports and aviation logistics platforms.

Planning and research project: East extension of Guanghe Passenger Depot to Chaoshan Airport (Jiedong Section)

Projects to start: Jiedongcheng District to Meishan Passenger Dedicated Jieyang Station connection line, North Ring Avenue extending to Sino-German Metal Eco-city, Science and Technology Avenue extending to Jieyang Station of high-speed rail. Continued construction project: Jinxianmen Bridge (Jiedong Section)

Ordinary highway projects:

Projects started: National Highway G206 from Jiudou to Lingzai Section, Provincial Highway S255 from Tabei Village to Sanzhou Bridge in Jiedong District, Provincial Highway S255 from Dalianggang to Guanglian Village in Jiedong District, Meishan Passenger Special High-speed Railway Jieyang Station Area Road network construction project.

Continued construction project: Provincial Highway S255 (formerly County Highway X107) Sanzhou Bridge to Provincial Highway S234.
