The Guangdong Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment stated that according to the conclusions of the Shenzhen-Shenzhen-Shenzhen Cooperation Zone Railway Project Environmental Impact Report, the technical assessment report and the preliminary review opinions of the relevant prefectural and municipal ecological environment departments, and in accordance with the relevant provisions of the construction project environmental impact assessment approval procedure, it is proposed to The environmental impact assessment document of the project has been approved. Shenzhen-Shantou High Speed Rail

The Shenzhen-Shantou high-speed rail project starts at Xili Station in the Shenzhen hub and passes through Shenzhen and Huizhou to the Shenzhen-Shantou Cooperation Zone, and then introduces the Guangzhou-Shantou high-speed rail to Shenzhen-Shantou Station. The main line project has a total length of 125.486km, of which the elevated section is 25.994km (including the station viaduct), the underground section is 90.294km (including the station tunnel), and the ground section is 9.198 km (including the station subgrade); two newly-built tie lines are respectively The lengths of the Shenzhen-Shantou high-speed rail to Xiamen-Shenzhen high-speed rail link and the Shenzhen-Shantou high-speed rail to Guangshan high-speed rail link are 5.925km and 4.701km respectively.

There are 6 stations on the whole line, namely Shenshan Station (the elevated station under construction of the Guangzhou-Shantou High-speed Railway, the station building project of the Shenshan Station caused by the introduction of this project, the main line bridge and the supporting track layer of the Shenshan Station, and the four power stations are included.
