Inspired by the "health code" of China's national defense measures, the Mexican version of the "health code" has now become a "standard configuration" in many local shopping malls and supermarkets.

Nearing Christmas, the "Iron Palace" shopping mall in Polanco, Mexico City welcomed more customers. A huge Christmas tree and two rows of green QR codes are placed outside the main entrance of the "Iron Palace". People entering the mall only need to scan the QR code and fill in their mobile phone number to register their personal itinerary. Big eyes, cute color matching-this intelligent morning inspection robot developed by a Chinese technology company has multiple cameras and sensors. Students only need to stretch out their hands and open their mouths in front of the robot, and it can complete body temperature, mouth, hand and eye tests in a few seconds, helping to identify symptoms related to new coronary pneumonia and common infectious diseases in children.

Auxiliary diagnosis and treatment system

At the Southern Hospital of Quito, the capital of Ecuador, the auxiliary diagnosis and treatment system jointly developed by Huawei in conjunction with Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Lanwang Technology helped medical staff alleviate the "urgency". This system uses artificial intelligence technology to compare the lung CT images of suspected patients with the new crown with a large amount of data provided by China, which can distinguish different types of patients with high accuracy.

"Without this Chinese technology, the hospital may be crowded with a large number of patients who do not need to be hospitalized, and may even have collapsed." said Danilo Calderon, the director of the Quito Southern Hospital.

Thermal imaging temperature measurement

Entry-exit epidemic prevention is the "vanguard" of all countries in controlling the spread of the epidemic. Under the current epidemic prevention situation, thermal imaging temperature measurement equipment has become an indispensable helper. Many Chinese technology companies, including Huawei and Dahua Technology, have provided thermal imaging equipment to Latin American countries such as Mexico, Panama, and Argentina to help fight the epidemic.

At the busy security checkpoint and passenger arrival passage at Buenos Aires Ezeiza International Airport in Argentina, security personnel and anti-epidemic personnel are closely watching the pictures and data on the monitor. When a passenger passes the camera, the device will perform face recognition to confirm whether the passenger is wearing a mask, and automatically detect the body temperature, with an error value of less than 0.3 degrees Celsius. This is the thermal imaging technology equipment jointly launched by Huawei Cloud and Zhongwei Electronics, which has built the first line of defense for the airport epidemic prevention work.
