At 11 o'clock in the evening, the "fully armed" Zhao Guoqiang began routine inspections again. He sometimes leaned over to observe, sometimes squatted to check, sometimes got up to confirm, and tried his best to catch the "clues" of potential safety hazards. Soon, a small hidden danger hidden under the insulation cotton was "pulled out" by him and eliminated in time.

"The more you get to the critical period of winter donation, the more you have to fulfill your responsibilities. The seemingly ordinary inspection work cannot tolerate the slightest sloppy, and deep digging can make safety hazards surface." Zhao Guoqiang said.

Look and hear

At 8 o'clock in the morning, when the prescribed inspection time came, Yang Kai, the deputy manager of the production and operation department of the Tianjin LNG receiving station of the LNG management branch, came to the floating storage gasification unit wharf in the station to inspect the pipelines and equipment.

Since the start of the winter supply in Tianjin, Yang Kai and his colleagues have been in front of the computer in the central control room at around 7 o'clock in the morning, carefully watching the changes in various monitoring parameters. As soon as the inspection time came, they walked into the station to start daily inspections. The cold sea breeze soon blew through the cotton work clothes, but Yang Kai and his colleagues were not disturbed at all, still holding the explosion detector to check carefully. At a key valve connection, Yang Kai approached, listened carefully, looked carefully, and touched the invisible part of the back with his hand. After confirming that there was no problem, the inspection at this point was ended. The total length of the pipeline of the entire receiving station is tens of kilometers, and there are thousands of valves and flange connections. The inspection team must check every 2 hours, and sometimes increase the number of inspections. "Although the work is very hard, it is worth it to allow people in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region to use clean natural gas!" Yang Kai said.

Can't let go for a moment

At the beginning of the winter supply guarantee, a sudden drop in temperature caused all front-line personnel in the Nanchong operation area of the Southwest Pipeline Company, which was responsible for the important task of the north-south two-way transportation of the Zhonggui Line, to tighten the "safety string". After the morning shift meeting, the operation area manager Ren Shuai and his colleagues started intensive inspections non-stop. Nanchong station has three sets of compressors, which are dual-use and one-standby, which can undertake the transportation task of 40 million cubic meters per day during the peak period of guaranteed supply. These three compressor sets are Ren Shuai's key inspection targets. "This is the'baby' in the station! Faced with the severe situation of guaranteeing supply this winter and next spring, we must ensure the safe operation of the units in use, and the standby units are always in a hot standby state."

After the inspection, Ren Shuai opened the hidden danger account and compared the inspection results one by one. Finally, he wrote down the date of the day in the "Sales Time" column. It was already 10 o'clock in the morning, and he ran non-stop to the girth weld excavation site 29 kilometers away...

Ecstasy busy

Yangpu Station is an important gas transmission guarantee station for the pipeline network of Hainan Province. Both offshore natural gas and imported LNG are landed at the same time, providing a steady stream of clean energy for downstream users.

"The three air-sea filters at our station are the'sanitary guards' of pipeline natural gas, and are also the'model workers' who have been conscientiously'sticking to their posts' for seventeen years. Today, we will replace the filter elements for them. Only the filter separators are properly maintained. Effectively improve the filtering effect, so that users can use cleaner and more efficient natural gas." The webmaster Dong Zhixian introduced to everyone. Under his supervision, the employees in the station started the work of filter maintenance and replacement of filter elements. Switching, isolation, listing, venting, nitrogen replacement, testing, and installation are proceeding in an orderly manner. After the work is finished, Yangpu Station is already shrouded in the golden afterglow of the sunset. "The two pressure regulating skids in the Nangang valve room failed to operate at the same time. Please repair them immediately." At 1:30 in the morning, Xu Zhibin, a technician from the Tianjin Management Office of the Northern Pipeline Company, received an emergency call from the staff on duty and immediately got out of the warm bed. Get up, put on work clothes and tools, and rushed from the city to the Nangang valve room on the coast of Bohai Bay with my colleague Li Peng.

At 3 o'clock in the morning, in the valve room, there were gusts of cold wind blowing from the sea, and the pressure regulator under the light of the light had no daily operating sound. The Nangang valve chamber pressure regulating skid is the main equipment for supplying gas to Nangang Station. The outage of the pressure regulating skid may affect the normal gas supply of downstream users, and maintenance tasks are imminent. The two of them performed on-site inspection and analysis non-stop... After 2 hours of fighting, a glimmer of morning light appeared on the horizon, and the two pressure regulating skids resumed normal operation, ensuring that the pipeline was running continuously and the gas supply was continuous.

The battle for natural gas supply in winter has been speeded up in an all-round way.
