Recently, in an offshore wind farm in southern Vietnam, with the precise docking of the last wind turbine blades, the wind turbine hoisting work was successfully completed.
The wind farm has a total of 25 wind turbines with a single rated power of 5.0MW. There are 6 SANY crawler cranes participating in the hoisting on site, of which two SCC12500A are responsible for the main crane task. This is also the first show of the SCC12500A model in "Shuanghai" (overseas, offshore).
This time, SCC12500A adopts HJDBC working condition, the arm length is 126 meters, the working radius is 16-32.5 meters, and the hoisting height is about 100 meters. The unit has high power and heavy cabin. When hoisting the engine room, the hoisting weight (including spreaders) is about 180 tons.
SCC12500A is fixed on an ordinary floating barge, and the construction workers usually travel by speedboat.
Difficulty in construction
Although there are deep piles, anchor chains, and cables around the barge to assist in positioning and fixing, compared to other platforms, the impact of wind and waves on this floating barge is still huge, and the unevenness of the platform greatly increases the difficulty of hoisting. .
SCC12500A arrived at the wind farm at the end of July. According to the requirements of the construction party, the construction must be completed before October. However, here is the rainy season, and the rain is uncertain. People-oriented, safety first, once the storm is too big, all operations have to be suspended, and each work node becomes extremely tense.
In order to ensure the smooth hoisting of each wind turbine, SANY specially arranged service engineers to be stationed at the site together, from crane customs clearance, installation, testing, to hoisting of wind farm projects.
