On December 29, 2021, the last offshore wind turbine of China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd. Dalian Zhuanghe Offshore Wind Farm Site project was successfully connected to the grid, marking the full-capacity grid-connected power generation of the offshore wind power project with the largest single capacity and the highest latitude in northern China.

The project site is located in the open sea on the east side of Shicheng Island, Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province. It consists of two parts: Wind Farm II and Wind Farm IV. The planned area is 115.2 square kilometers, and the installed capacity is 650,000 kilowatts. Meeting the annual electricity demand of 1.442 million households will effectively alleviate the current tight supply of electricity in Liaoning.

Compared with coal-fired power plants of the same scale, it can save 540,000 tons of standard coal each year, reduce pollutant emissions by 1.12 million tons, and have significant ecological benefits

The project integrates design concept innovation, cutting-edge technology application, safety and quality excellence, explores digital and intelligent infrastructure, adopts O-Wind offshore wind farm project to build a command center system, realizes wireless communication through microwave carrier wave, and completes on-site data remote Real-time and dynamic monitoring.
