Risen Energy announced plans to invest US$7 billion to build a new solar photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing plant in Inner Mongolia. The project consists of two parts, one is the manufacturing sector, and the other is the renewable energy power generation sector. For the power generation part of the project, the company signed an agreement with an investment of approximately US$3.9 billion (25.2 billion yuan).
In addition to energy storage components, 3.5GW of solar energy and 1.6GW of wind energy will be installed. After completion, the manufacturing plant will have an annual production capacity of about 200,000 tons of industrial silicon, 150,000 tons of polysilicon, 10GW solar cells and 3GW panels. The manufacturing plant will be powered by the renewable energy power generation sector. Keywords: engineering construction, engineering news
Risen Energy said the manufacturing part of the complex is planned to take four years to complete. Recently, TÜV Rheinland, a third-party testing and certification organization, confirmed that Risen Energy’s heterojunction module series achieved a maximum power of 721.016W and a module efficiency of 23.65%. In terms of components, Risen Energy integrates the latest heterojunction cells and advanced packaging technology, with ultra-high efficiency heterojunction cells and ultra-low component packaging losses.Editor/XingWentao
