The Swedish wind farm is located about 30 kilometers south of Ystad and will include 68 to 129 wind turbines with a maximum height of 370 meters. The application is being processed and will be decided by the Skåne County Administrative Committee. OX2 said it involves the Natura2000 license, including the Environmental Impact Report (EIA).

OX2 said that if it is completed at full capacity, the Triton offshore wind farm will generate 7.5 TWh of electricity per year, enough to meet the needs of about 1.5 million households. This is the third offshore wind power project application submitted by the company in more than a month. OX2 submitted the Galatea-Galene offshore wind farm license application and Natura2000 application. The project will include 101 turbines divided into two areas: Galatea, about 25 kilometers from Falberg, and Galene, about 25 kilometers from Varberg. OX2 also recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the Finnish Åland Islands Bank to develop the Noatun offshore wind farm project south of the Åland Islands. The two parties aim to establish a jointly owned company, where OX2 is the developer and Ålandsbanken Fondbolag is the long-term partial owner before the completion of the project. The Noatun project is in its early stages and is expected to consist of approximately 250 wind turbines that can provide 20 TWh of electricity per year.Editor/XingWentao
