On January 10, 2022, the D843 "Fuxing" EMU bound for Kunming from Xichang West departed from Xichang West Station and will arrive at Kunming Station after 4 hours and 21 minutes. This is also the first "Fuxing" EMU from Xichangxi after the Mianning-Miyi section of the Chengdu-Kunming Railway's capacity expansion and reconstruction project was put into operation.

At the beginning of the operation, the railway department arranged for 5 pairs of "Fuxing" EMU trains to run on the Mianmi section, including 1 pair from Xichang West to Xishuangbanna, 3 pairs from Xichang West to Kunming, and 1 pair from Xichang West to Panzhihua South. The opening of the "Fuxing" EMU will accelerate the urbanization process of Xichang and Panzhihua along the line, meet the needs of passenger transportation along the line, and play a very positive role in helping rural revitalization and promoting the development of tourism resources along the line.Editor/Ma Xue
