On February 7, 2022, the Development and Reform Commission of Bayingoleng Mongolia Autonomous Prefecture issued a bidding announcement for the competitive configuration of grid-connected new energy projects in Bazhou in 2021-2022. Energy projects are divided into 4 tenders for wind power and photovoltaics, including wind power projects of 300,000 kilowatts and photovoltaic power generation projects of 300,000 kilowatts.

In order to implement the task of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, we will continue to promote the high-quality development of wind power and photovoltaic power generation in Bazhou. According to the "Notice of the National Energy Administration on Matters Related to the Development and Construction of Wind Power and Photovoltaic Power Generation in 2021" (Guoneng Fa Xinneng [2021] No. 25) "The Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Thermal Power, Wind Power, Photovoltaic and other public resource development and construction projects are selected through public bidding. "Interim Measures for Owners" (Order No. 201 of the People's Government of the Autonomous Region) "Notice of the Xinjiang Supervision Office of the National Energy Administration of the Autonomous Region Development and Reform Commission on Matters Related to the Annual Development and Construction Plan for Wind Power and Photovoltaic Power Generation in 2021" (New Development and Reform Energy [2021] No. 419) According to the requirements of other laws and regulations and documents, the competitive configuration of Bazhou’s 2021-2022 affordable grid-connected new energy projects will be publicly announced as follows:

Project Status

The construction sites are located in Korla City, Ruoqiang County, Qiemo County, Yuli County and Heshuo County. Construction-scale wind power projects of 300,000 kilowatts and photovoltaic power generation projects of 300,000 kilowatts. Wind power and photovoltaic projects will be completed and connected to the grid at full capacity by September 30, 2022, and energy storage devices will be completed and connected to the grid by the end of December 2023. (Specifically agreed by the owner and the winning bidder in the contract agreement).

Tender division

Wind power is divided into 4 tenders. The first tender section is 100,000 kilowatts in the Qiman wind area of Ruoqiang County; the second tender section is 100,000 kilowatts in the Luobuzhuang wind area in Ruoqiang County; the third tender section is 50,000 kilowatts in the Milan wind area in Ruoqiang County; the fourth tender section is Ruoqiang County Milan wind area 50,000 kilowatts.

Photovoltaic is divided into 4 tenders. The fifth tender section is 100,000 kilowatts in Qiemo County; the sixth tender section is 50,000 kilowatts in Korla City; the seventh tender section is 100,000 kilowatts in Yuli County; and the eighth tender section is 50,000 kilowatts in Heshuo County.

The energy storage facilities are configured with an energy storage scale of not less than 10% of the installed capacity, and the energy storage duration under rated power is not less than 2 hours.
