On February 8, 2022, Lishen Battery held the commencement ceremony of the Chuzhou Base Project in Quanjiao County, Chuzhou City, Anhui Province. It is reported that the Lishen Battery Chuzhou Base Project plans to produce 36GWh of power batteries and energy storage batteries annually, with a total investment of about 15.2 billion yuan. Among them, the first phase is planned to construct 16GWh, and strive to be completed within the year, and put into operation in the first half of next year; in 2025, after the completion of all three phases, the annual output value will reach more than 15 billion yuan.

It is understood that Lishen Battery is a veteran state-owned battery company whose business has covered three major fields: consumer batteries, power batteries and energy storage batteries.
