The UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure revealed that the ministry is implementing 129 development projects worth about US$3.2 billion (AED11.8 billion) as part of the ministry's five-year plan (2018-2023).

Hassan Mohamed Juma Al Mansouri, Deputy Minister of the Ministry, said the nationwide development includes the construction of 70 government buildings at a cost of US$1.8 billion (AED6.62 billion) and the implementation of 17 medical facility projects and 26 UAE Ministry of Interior projects.

The plans also include 12 infrastructure development projects for educational facilities, 15 development projects for government buildings open to the public, 28 projects to construct and maintain federal roads, and 31 projects for dams and canals at a total cost of $1.4 billion ($5.18 billion). dirham).

Al Mansouri noted that the total number of registered federal buildings was 2,901, including 2,111 mosques, 125 health facilities and 507 educational facilities, adding that the Ministry of Education had completed maintenance work on 258 of these buildings at a total cost of 1.554 US$571 million (A$571 million).
