Tianzhushan No. 1 Tunnel is a key and difficult control project for the construction of the West Ten High-speed Railway (Shaanxi Section). The tunnel has a total length of 14,742 meters and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is a single-hole double-track tunnel with a line spacing of 5 meters. The main line of the tunnel is a CRTS I type double-block ballastless track structure, which is constructed using the auxiliary tunnel mode of 1 horizontal guide + 2 transverse holes + 1 inclined shaft. The No. 2 horizontal hole undertakes the construction task of 2059 meters, the horizontal guide construction task of 3120 meters, The construction task of Zhengdong is 4988 meters, which is the key construction line of the whole line.

Through contact, the project processed and transported steel arches and pipe sheds in Xikang 4 standard of China Railway 11th Bureau, using commercial concrete, and made every effort to seize the temporary construction of projects such as No. 2 mixing station, No. 2 steel bar processing plant and steel bridge, and urged No. 2 Hengdong was the first to meet the conditions for entering the hole, laying a solid foundation for the scheduled opening of the Xishi high-speed railway.
