It is reported that the Ruian No. 1 offshore wind power project is listed as one of the major construction projects in Zhejiang Province in 2022. The site is located in the waters south of Beiji Islands, Ruian City. The total investment of the project is about 4.5 billion yuan and the construction area is about 30.7 square kilometers. , the planned construction capacity is 300,000 kilowatts.

China Resources Ruian Fishery and Photovoltaic Complementary Photovoltaic Power Generation Project is currently the largest tidal flat photovoltaic project in the world. It is one of the "three billions of billions" projects in the marine economy industry of Ruian City, with a total investment of about 15 billion yuan. The site is located in the beach of Ruian City. The first and second phases of Oufei have a total area of about 53,826 mu and a total planned scale of 3,588 megawatts of photovoltaics.
