As an important measure to boost economic growth, the list of key projects in Hubei Province has been announced one after another. Recently, Hubei announced the provincial key construction plan in 2022, including 456 construction projects and 89 early-stage promotion projects. The annual planned investment is 303.829 billion yuan, an increase of 47% over the previous year.

Construction projects means that these will start construction in 2022; and advancing projects in the early stage means that the procedures for the project have not been completed, and will strive to start construction within the year, but may not be able to start.

Among the 456 construction projects, there are 27 expressways and 4 high-speed railways (respectively, the Yichang-Zheng-Wan high-speed railway tie line, the Jingjing high-speed railway, the Wuhan-Yichang section of the riverside high-speed railway, and the Shiyan-Xian section of the Xishi high-speed railway).

At the end of the 13th Five-Year Plan period, Hubei proposed the "4+2" key railway projects, that is, starting 4 railways and striving to start 2 railways. The original plan for these 6 railways will start construction in 2020. But until early 2022, only 3 railways have entered the construction process, and the remaining 3 railways are still in progress.

In the list of key projects in Hubei in 2022, in addition to the 4 high-speed railways in construction projects, 7 of the 89 early-stage promotion projects have entered the key promotion list. Editor / Xu Shengpeng
