Ghana is stepping up efforts to increase the share of renewable energy in its electricity mix. According to its energy strategy, the country hopes to achieve 2.5GW of renewable energy generation capacity - possibly including hydropower - by 2030. By the end of 2019, it had only 64MW of solar power capacity, according to statistics from the International Renewable Energy Agency.Editor/XingWentao
