Recently, in order to speed up the preliminary work of the East Guangdong Intercity Railway, the ray investment estimation review meeting of the Shantou-Chaozhou East-Chaoshan Airport-Shantou section of the East Guangdong Intercity Railway and the Chaoshan Airport-Jieyang South-Jieyang section was held in Guangdong Building. Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, China International Engineering Consulting Corporation, relevant business departments of the Group, the East Guangdong Intercity Railway Preparatory Group, China Railway Design Consulting Group and other relevant responsible comrades and four external project evaluation experts attended the meeting.

China Railway Design Consulting Group reported the engineering and investment estimates and comparative analysis of the feasibility study part of the east ring and the north extension of the eastern Guangdong Intercity. Specially invited experts for the review put forward professional review opinions on investment estimation, and require the design unit to verify and revise according to relevant review opinions, complete document revisions as soon as possible within the required time, and obtain consulting opinions from China International Consulting Company in time to create favorable conditions for project feasibility study approval.

The eastern Guangdong intercity railway project has a total mileage of 142 kilometers and a total project investment of 51.2 billion yuan. It is planned to approve the project feasibility study and preliminary design in April, and the entire project will start construction in June. Editor/He Yuting
