Fuyang City is the most populous city in Anhui Province, and the construction of a strong country takes the lead in transportation. In order to meet the growing transportation demand, currently two cities in Anhui Province have their own rail transportation, namely Hefei City and Wuhu City, and three cities. The rail transit is under construction in Chuzhou City, Ma'anshan City and Bengbu City. Among them, Bengbu City is a cloud rail, and Chuzhou City and Ma'anshan City are both light rails leading to Nanjing City. As a transportation hub and economic center in the northern region of Anhui Province, Fuyang City must not fall behind and must build its own rail transit.

The rail transit in Fuyang City is divided into short-term planning, long-term planning and long-term planning. A total of 5 rail transits are constructed, namely Lines 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. The recent planning time is 2025, which is 1, 2 , Line 3, the long-term plan is 2030, which is the extension of these three lines, and the long-term plan is 2050, which is Line 4 and 5.
