Recently, the No. 1 gas turbine of the Rupsha 800 MW combined cycle power station project in Bangladesh, which was contracted by Shanghai Electric Power Plant Engineering Co., Ltd., was successfully hoisted, marking that the main equipment gas turbine of the project has officially entered the installation stage.

The project is an international bidding project financed by the Asian Development Bank. It consists of two sets of one-to-one F-class combined cycle units. It is the largest single gas turbine power station in Bangladesh. It is located in the Khulna area of Bangladesh and is the overall plan for the power of Bangladesh. For an important part, after the project is put into operation, it will greatly alleviate the shortage of power supply in cities and surrounding areas in southwestern Bangladesh, and will play a positive role in promoting local economic development and expanding employment.Editor/Ma Xue
