On April 21, 2022, with the completion of the last surface layer pouring, the main body of the No. 12 approach bridge project of Ningbo Zhoushan Port Meishan Port Area No. 6 to No. 10 Container Terminal Project was completed. So far, Ningbo Zhoushan Port Meishan Port Area No. 6 to 10 No. Container Terminal Project has completed the main construction of all hydraulic works, and Meishan Port has made a big step towards the goal of building the second "tens of millions of containers" single container terminal in Ningbo Zhoushan Port.

Ningbo Zhoushan Port Meishan Port Area No. 6 to No. 10 Container Terminal Project is currently the highest-level container terminal under construction in China. The project is located on the southeast side of Ningbo Meishan Island. The total length of the terminal coastline is 2,150 meters, and the total land area is about 1.8 million square meters. m, build two 200,000-ton and three 150,000-ton container berths (the hydraulic structure is designed for berthing 200,000-ton container ships), with a total investment of about 7.86 billion yuan and a designed annual throughput of 4.3 million TEUs . The completed No. 12 approach bridge deck adopts a simply supported prestressed hollow slab structure with a width of 22 meters and a total length of 461 meters.

With the completion of the main body of the No. 12 approach bridge, the construction of the No. 6 to No. 10 container terminals in the Meishan Port Area of Ningbo Zhoushan Port has entered the final sprint stage. After the project is completed and put into use, the annual throughput capacity of Meishan Port will exceed 10 million TEUs, and Ningbo Zhoushan Port will become the only port in my country and even in the world with double "tens of millions of TEUs" single container terminals.Editor/Ma Xue
