On April 22, 2022, Energy China Gezhouba International Co., Ltd. and Yuhuan Heyi Supply Chain Technology (Kun) Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony for the South Asia-ASEAN International Economic, Trade and Cultural Service Center project in Sri Lanka. The successful signing of this project marks a new progress in the development of China Energy Construction Gezhouba Group in the South Asian market.

The project is located in Habalene, north-central province of Sri Lanka and trincomalee, the eastern port. The main contents of the project are: to set up a tea processing factory and warehouse for raw materials and finished products in Habalene, Sri Lanka, to build a bonded warehouse for tea trading and a comprehensive office building at Trincomalee Port, and to set up a trading platform for cross-border trade logistics settlement service center. After the project is completed, it will vigorously promote Chinese tea to the world and promote China-Sri Lanka economic and trade cooperation. Sri Lanka is a key market for China Energy China Gezhouba International Company in South Asia.
