On April 20, 2022, the "Announcement on the Winning Results of the Technical Review Service Project of the Feasibility Study of the Mian-Sui Nei Railway" was released, and China Railway Economic Planning and Research Institute Co., Ltd. won the bid with 5.8 million yuan.

The Feasibility Study Report of the Mian-Sui-Inner Railway has been prepared. Feasibility technical review is a prerequisite for project feasibility review and approval. After the technical review is passed, the feasibility report will be submitted to China Railway Corporation Limited for review, and finally China Railway Corporation Limited and the Sichuan Provincial Government will make a feasibility study for approval.

The Mian Suining Neijiang Railway is located in the eastern part of Sichuan Province, starting from Mianyang City, passing through Suining City, Ziyang (Anyue County) to Neijiang City. According to the plan, the Mian-Sui Inner Railway starts from Anzhou Station of the Cheng-Lanzhou Railway and passes through Mianyang South, Luxi, Santai, Jinhua Town, Shehong, Suining Gaoxin, Anzhu, Anyue (Ziyang), and Shuangqiao Station.
