Recently, the CC4 project of the Brunei Temburong Sea-crossing Bridge undertaken by our bureau won the 2021 China Construction Engineering Luban Award (overseas project). After the Shanjiang River Bridge, our bureau won the fifth Luban Award for bridge engineering. Behind this, it is inseparable from the hard work of Goldsmiths Innovation Studio for several years.

"Jin Chunshang Craftsman Innovation Studio" takes Jin Chunshang, a "Chinese construction craftsman" as the leader, gathers technical elites and front-line production backbones of Brunei projects, and with the further support of enterprise trade unions in terms of funds and systems, accumulates new kinetic energy for innovation and development, and proposes " Taking the goal as the driving force, innovation as the driving force, and lean to promote the management”, it closely follows the difficulties in the construction and production of the Brunei project, and carries out mass technical research, technological innovation and technological invention activities, and has become the driving force for the construction of the Brunei project. The "new engine" provides a strong guarantee for the final and perfect performance of the contract.

The CC4 lot passes through the primitive swamps that have not been developed by human beings. It is the most technically and constructionally difficult lot of the entire bridge, which has made countless foreign counterparts discouraged. Jin Chunshang led the studio members to review the full English version of the design documents, figured out the design intentions, consulted a large number of relevant documents, and formulated the "fishing method" construction plan, which became the key core technology for the project to perform on schedule, and was highly recognized by relevant international parties. .

The so-called "fishing method" means that all the machinery and equipment during the construction have "zero landing" without touching the swampy ground or destroying the rainforest vegetation. Build bridges on bridges. It is the first time in the world to use this method for construction on such a large scale.

The Brunei Bridge is a fully prefabricated structure. For this reason, "Jin Chunshang Craftsman Innovation Studio" innovatively designed the world's first movable steel platform, which laid the foundation for the prefabricated construction of the bridge. "Building blocks" in the front and "building blocks" in the rear, moving the construction site to the factory workshop not only frees up the site, but also greatly reduces the impact of dust, mud and other construction waste on the virgin forest environment.

The Brunei Temburong Bridge was successfully opened during the critical period of epidemic prevention and control, which shortened the journey between Brunei mainland and Temburong District from 2 hours to 15 minutes, greatly reducing the epidemic infection caused by local residents traveling between the two places by boat. Risks have played an important role in Brunei's epidemic prevention.
