Qichun Garden Pumped-storage Power Station is located in Shizi Town, Qichun County, Huanggang City, Hubei Province. As the first pumped-storage power station project invested by Energy China, the main contents include the construction of a pumped-storage power station with a total installed capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts. and other supporting facilities.

At present, the project has been included in the key implementation projects of the 14th Five-Year Plan for National Pumped Storage. After completion, it will mainly undertake tasks such as power grid peak regulation, valley filling, frequency regulation, phase regulation, energy storage, emergency backup and black start. During the peak construction period of the project, more than 2,000 local jobs can be added. After the project is put into operation, it is expected to contribute 100 million yuan in local tax revenue each year. .
