On May 5, 2022, the Hunan Provincial Department of Transportation released the investment promotion of four expressway projects (two project packages) including the G4 Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway Changsha Guangfu to Zhuzhou Wangshiwan Section, with a total investment of 72.6 billion yuan.

Project 1: The expansion project of the G4 Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway Changsha Guangfu to Zhuzhou Wangshiwan (Zhuting) section bundles the Chenzhou to Guiyang section of the Guidong to Xintian (Ningyuan) Expressway, with a total investment of about 41.9 billion yuan.

G4 Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway Changsha Guangfu to Zhuzhou Wang Shiwan (Zhuting) Section Expansion Project

The expansion project of the G4 Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway Changsha Guangfu to Zhuzhou Wangshiwan (Zhuting) section is a transportation development planning project in Hunan Province during the "14th Five-Year Plan". The route runs from north to south, starting from the north of Pingjiang service area in Changsha County, passing through the east side of Huanghua Airport and the east side of Aviation Apparel Industrial Park, and ending at the south side of Zhuting Interchange on Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway in Lukou District. The new expressway is about 143 kilometers, two-way eight-lane expressway standard, and necessary interchanges, connecting lines, traffic engineering and facilities along the line are constructed simultaneously. The total investment of this project is about 31.1 billion yuan.

Guidong-Xintian (Ningyuan) Expressway Chenzhou-Guiyang Section

The Chenzhou-Guiyang section of the Guidong-Xintian (Ningyuan) Expressway is a transportation development planning project in Hunan Province during the "14th Five-Year Plan". The route runs from east to west. The route starts from the intersection of Xujiadong Town, Suxian District, Chenzhou City and the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao National Expressway, and then connects the Guidong-Chenzhou section of the Guidong-Xintian (Ningyuan) Expressway, mainly passing through Suxian District and Beihu District of Chenzhou. And Guiyang County, and finally Manchi, Guiyang County, Chenzhou City, and Xuguang National Expressway are connected. About 65 kilometers of new expressway will be built, two-way four-lane expressway standard, and necessary interchanges, connecting lines, traffic engineering and facilities along the line will be constructed simultaneously. The total investment of this project is about 10.8 billion yuan.

Project 2: The expansion project of the G4 Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway from Zhuzhou Wangshiwan (Zhuting) to Leiyang Dashi section is tied to the Guidong-Chenzhou section of the Guidong-Xintian (Ningyuan) expressway, with a total investment of about 30.7 billion yuan.

G4 Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway Zhuzhou Wang Shiwan (Zhuting) to Leiyang City Section Expansion Project

The expansion project of the G4 Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway from Zhuzhou Wangshiwan (Zhuting) to Leiyang Dashi is a transportation development planning project in Hunan Province during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. The overall direction is north-south, starting from the south side of Zhuting Interchange on the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway in Lukou District and ending at Dashi Township on the north side of Leiyang City. The expressway will be expanded by about 96 kilometers, and the two-way eight-lane expressway will be standard (expanded from 4 to 8), and the necessary interchanges, connecting lines, traffic engineering and facilities along the line will be constructed simultaneously. Guidong-Xintian (Ningyuan) Expressway Guidong-Chenzhou Section

The Guidong-Chenzhou section of the Guidong-Xintian (Ningyuan) Expressway is a transportation development planning project in Hunan Province during the "14th Five-Year Plan". The route starts from Baizhu, Guidong County, Chenzhou City, where Baizhu Interchange is set up to intersect with G106, mainly passing through Guidong County, Zixing City, Suxian District, and finally Xujiadong Town, Suxian District, Chenzhou City, and the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao National Expressway. East to Xintian (Ningyuan) Expressway Chenzhou to Guiyang section. About 94 kilometers of new expressway will be built, two-way four-lane expressway standard, and necessary interchanges, traffic works and facilities along the line will be built simultaneously.
