On the morning of May 18, 2022, Cairo time, the topping ceremony of the main structure of the D04 residential building was held in Egypt's new capital CBD project. D04 residential building has a total construction area of 89,000 square meters, a total building height of 159.8 meters, 40 floors above ground and 2 floors underground. The capping of the D04 residential building marks the completion of the main structure construction of all 20 buildings in the CBD project.

Khalid Abbas conveyed the concerns of Egyptian Prime Minister Madbouli and Egyptian Minister of Housing Essam on the progress of the CBD project, congratulated the project team on the results achieved, and expressed gratitude to the employees of Egypt and China for their hard work. He hoped that relevant parties will continue to work hard and cooperate with each other to ensure the smooth completion of the project construction node goals, and looked forward to the early completion and delivery of the first high-rise building of the CBD project.

In his speech, Chang Weicai expressed his gratitude to the relevant parties for their support and assistance to the project construction and the hard work of all Chinese and Egyptian employees. He pointed out that the 450,000-square-meter structural project, which took three years to complete, is not only the result of the joint efforts of Chinese and Egyptian builders, but will also become a model for cooperation between Chinese and Egyptian enterprises.Editor/Ma Xue
