On May 26, 2022, the main towers of the main bridge of the Nanjing Xianxin Road Crossing the River Channel, the largest single-span suspension bridge in China constructed by the China Railway Bridge Bureau, were all capped. Next, the Xianxin Road crossing project will enter the construction stage of the main bridge cable girder. Up to now, the construction of the upper structure of the pier of the north approach bridge of the bridge has completed 24 sections, and the beam support on the main tower is also being assembled and hoisted.

The topped north main tower is 263.8 meters high, which is equivalent to 88 floors. The main tower is designed with a gate-shaped frame concrete structure. The cover is composed of several parts, and the tower column is constructed by the hydraulic climbing formwork method.
