Li Quanmao, director of the dispatching center of the State Grid Gansu Electric Power Company, said that at 11:42 on the same day, the new energy output of Gansu Power Grid reached 16,422 megawatts, a record high. At that time, the output of new energy in Gansu power grid accounted for 63.22% of the total output of the whole network, and the output of clean energy accounted for 74.66%, and 97.65% of the electricity load of Gansu power grid was provided by new energy. At 21:32, the wind power output of Gansu Power Grid exceeded 12,000 MW in one fell swoop, reaching 12,192 MW, setting a new historical record for the third time in 2022. On that day, the total power generation of Gansu power grid was 551 million kWh, of which new energy power generation was 283 million kWh, accounting for 51.36% of the total power generation throughout the day, which also hit a record high.
According to Li Quanmao, with the continuous expansion of the installed capacity of wind power, the State Grid Gansu Electric Power Company Dispatching Center has continuously optimized the dispatching strategy, coordinated conventional energy peaking resources in advance by relying on the wind speed prediction system, and actively contacted a series of measures such as cross-provincial and cross-regional power trading. Promote the effective use of wind resources.
