Shabazz Sharif led a high-level delegation to Ankara on the 31st to start a three-day official visit to Turkey. He was warmly received by Turkish Defense Minister Hulus Akar and senior government diplomats at Ankara Esenboga International Airport. This is Shabazz Sharif's first visit to Turkey after taking office as Prime Minister on April 11, 2022. During the visit, Shabazz Sharif will hold talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, followed by delegation-level talks.

Shabazz Sharif will have extensive interaction with Turkish businessmen and potential investors from different fields, and will also participate in the Pakistan-Turkey Business Council Forum held in cooperation with the Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Council. In addition to discussing bilateral relations between Pakistan and Turkey, the leaders of the two countries will also exchange views on regional and international issues. They will also hold a joint press conference after the meeting.
