From July 8th to 11th, 2022, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Transportation has successively released the new East Guangdong Intercity Railway, one ring and one ray, Shantou to Chaoshan Airport, Jieyang South to Jieyang, Chaozhou East to Shantou, Chaoshan Airport to Jieyang Approval of the feasibility study reports for 5 projects in the southern section and the Chaozhou East to Chaoshan Airport section.

According to the "Approval", the trains on the East Guangdong Intercity Railway shall use Shantou to Chaozhou East to Chaoshan Airport to Shantou Ring Road and Jieyang to Chaozhou East, Jieyang to Shantou, and Chaozhou East to Shantou (via the East Ring Road) section trains. road. The transportation organization scheme of intercity EMU trains running at large stations and stops at station stations is adopted. The train marshalling adopts 4 CRH6 intercity EMUs, and 8 marshalling cross-line EMUs are reserved for operation conditions.

The clockwise running direction of the ring road is down (outer ring: Shantou to Chaoshan Airport to Chaozhou East to Shantou), and the counterclockwise direction is upward (inner ring: Shantou to Chaozhou East to Chaoshan Airport to Shantou).

Jieyang to Chaoshan Airport, Jieyang to Sangpu Mountain are down, and vice versa, upward; trains between Jieyang South and Shantou are transferred to Sangpu Mountain Station.

Shantou to Chaoshan Airport Section

The newly-built section between Shantou (inclusive) and Chaoshan Airport (exclusive) in the east of Guangdong will lead from Shantou Station, pass through Liantang and National Highway 206, and enter Chaoshan Airport Station. The total length of the project line is 45.75 kilometers (including 4.32 kilometers from this line to the main line in the direction of Jieyang), with 10 stations and 1 Liantang EMU operation station.

In this section, there are 10 stations including Shantou, Longhu High School, Times Square, Shantou No. 3 line stations including Shantou Station, among which Shantou Station is an existing station.

Longhu Affiliated Middle School, Times Square, Shantou No. 1 Middle School, Bus Terminal, and Jinfeng Peninsula Station have no wiring, but two side platforms.

Sangpushan Station has 4 arrival and departure lines (including the main line) and 2 island platforms. The main line of the Shantou to Jieyang section in the station is arranged through and out, and the main line direction of the section from Shantou to Chaoshan Airport should not be outsourced.

Liantang Station has 4 arrival and departure lines (including the main line) and 2 island platforms. There is an EMU operation station on the south side of the east end of Liantang Station. In the near future, it will be designed according to 4-line inspection warehouses and 16 car storage lines (storing 2 trains of 4-car EMUs). Further expansion conditions are reserved for the general plane.

Shantou Station will build a new yard for this line, which will be arranged in a separate station together with the high-speed yard and the general-speed yard under construction. There are 5 arrival and departure lines (including the main line), 1 basic platform and 2 island platforms in the depot of this line. In order to meet the needs of the return operation, "eight-character" crossing lines are set between the main lines of the throat at both ends of the parking lot.

The total construction area of the station building and related supporting buildings in this section is controlled at 89,600 square meters. Among them, the underground station is 75,550 square meters (including commercial development and 31,690 square meters shared with the railway), and the elevated station is 14,050 square meters.

Jinfeng Peninsula, Liantang, and Didu Stations are elevated stations in the middle of the road, and the construction areas of their station buildings and roadside buildings are controlled at 2,300 square meters, 3,330 square meters, and 2,380 square meters respectively.

Laicuo and Sangpushan stations are roadside elevated stations. The total construction area of the station buildings, operation management and equipment buildings of the two stations is controlled at 2620 square meters and 3420 square meters respectively.

Longfor Affiliated Middle School, Times Square, Shantou No. 1 Middle School, and Bus Terminal are underground stations. Longhu Affiliated Middle School Station is a three-story underground station with a total construction area of 16,600 square meters; Times Square Station is a three-story underground station with a total construction area of 20,120 square meters; Shantou No. 1 Middle School Station is a four-story underground station with a total construction area of 20,070 square meters; The bus terminal is an underground three-story station with a total construction area of 18,760 square meters.

The key projects of the whole line are the Zhongshan Road Tunnel (9.893 kilometers in length, excluding stations) and the Airport Tunnel (2.67 kilometers in length). The total construction period of the whole line is tentatively considered as 4.5 years (54 months), of which the civil construction control period is Zhongshan Road Tunnel, and the construction period is 41 months. The preliminary design estimate of the project from Shantou to Chaoshan Airport is 18.19 billion yuan.

Chaozhou East to Chaoshan Airport Section

The section from Chaozhou East (inclusive) to Chaoshan Airport (inclusive) leads from Chaozhou East Station, passes through Fengchun Road and Chaoshan Road, and leads to Chaoshan Airport Station and Denggang Line Station. The new main line has a total length of 24.636 kilometers and 6 stations.

There are 6 stations in this section, including Chaozhou East, Ruyi, Fuyang, Chaoshan, Jieyang Airport T2 (reserved), and Chaoshan Airport.

Ruyi and Chaoshan Stations have no wiring, but 2 side platforms. The reserved Jieyang Airport T2 station has no wiring and one island platform.

Chaozhou East Railway Station has 4 arrival and departure lines (including the main line) and 2 island platforms, of which the south platform has the conditions for receiving and dispatching cross-line trains. In order to meet the needs of the turn-back operation, there are "eight-character" crossing lines between the main lines of the throat at both ends of the yard, the number 12 switch is used, and the distance between the main lines in the station is 4.6 meters.

The total construction area of the station building and related supporting buildings is controlled at 81,370 square meters. Among them, the underground station is 70,790 square meters (including commercial development and 16,980 square meters shared with the railway), and the elevated station is 10,580 square meters.

Ruyi, Fuyang and Chaoshan stations are elevated stations. Among them, Ruyi is an elevated station in the middle of the road, and the construction area of the station building and roadside buildings is controlled at 2,630 square meters. Chaoshan Station is a roadside elevated station, and the construction area of the station building, operation management, and equipment room is controlled at 4,670 square meters.

Chaozhou East, Jieyang Airport T2 (reserved), and Chaoshan Airport Station are underground stations. The reserved Jieyang Airport T2 Station is a 2-story underground station with a total construction area of 11,670 square meters; Chaozhou East Station is an underground 2-story station with a total construction area of 42,930 square meters; Chaoshan Airport Station remains unchanged at 16,190 square meters, both of which are Intercity rail range.

The total construction period of the whole line is tentatively considered as 4.5 years (54 months), of which the civil construction control period is Zhongshan Road Tunnel, and the construction period is 41 months. The preliminary design estimate for the section from Chaozhou East to Chaoshan Airport is 9.26 billion yuan.

Chaozhou East to Shantou Section

The newly-built section between Chaozhou East (exclusive) and Shantou (exclusive) in the East Guangdong Intercity will be led from Chaozhou East Station and introduced into the Intercity Field of Shantou Station. The total length of the project line is 42.356 kilometers, with 7 stations, and the conditions for station establishment in Hanjiang New Town are reserved. At the north end of Shantou Station, a connecting line is set up to connect the Guangzhou-Meizhou-Shantou Railway.

In this section, there are 10 stations including Chaozhou East, Xiangqiao, Peninsula Plaza, Hanjiang New Town, Longdu, Lianyang, Chenghai, Waisha, Longhu, Shantou, and Xinjin Line Station. Among them, Hanjiang New Town Station does not handle passenger transportation for the time being.

Xiangqiao, Peninsula Square, Longdu, Chenghai, Waisha and Longhu stations are designed as non-distributed stations, with 2 side platforms.

Lianyang Station has 4 arrival and departure lines (including the main line) and 2 island platforms. In order to meet the reserved operation conditions of Xiaojiao Road in Shantou City, a group of "eight" crossing lines are set up in the throat of Shantou. Hanjiang Xincheng Station is designed with 3 arrival and departure lines (including the main line) and 2 side platforms. Passenger transportation will not be handled in the near future, and offline projects such as arrival and departure lines and platforms will be implemented simultaneously. On the south side of Shantou's throat, there is an EMU parking lot and a comprehensive maintenance work area. This line introduces the upper and lower connecting lines of the east ring of Shantou Station, and adopts the plan of introducing the throat at the northern end of Guangmei Shanchang of Shantou Station.

The total construction area of the station building and related supporting buildings is 44,849 square meters. Among them, the underground station is 30,179 square meters, and the above-ground station is 14,670 square meters. Hanjiang New Town, Longdu, Lianyang, Chenghai, Waisha, and Longhu Stations are overground stations. Lianyang, Chenghai, and Waisha Stations are elevated stations in the middle of the road. The construction area of station buildings and roadside buildings is controlled by 3,140 square meters for Lianyang Station, 3,010 square meters for Chenghai Station, and 2,320 square meters for Waisha Station. Longdu Station and Longhu Station are roadside elevated stations, and the construction area of the station building is controlled by 2,610 square meters for Longdu Station and 3,590 square meters for Longhu Station. Xiangqiao Station is a three-story underground station with a total construction area of 16,249 square meters; Peninsula Square Station is an underground two-story station with a total construction area of 13,930 square meters.

The total construction period of the whole line is tentatively considered as 4.5 years (54 months), of which the civil construction control period is Hanjiang Tunnel, and the construction period is 44 months. The preliminary design estimate of the Chaozhou East to Shantou section is 13.64 billion yuan.

Chaoshan Airport to the southern section of Jieyang

The newly-built East Guangdong Intercity Chaoshan Airport (excluding) to Jieyang South section leads from the Denggang Line of Chaoshan Airport Station, passes through National Highway 206, Wangjiang North Road, Jieyang Avenue, and leads to Jieyang South Station. The new main line has a total length of 15.52 kilometers. 4 stations.

In this section, there are 4 stations including Fort, Yuhu, Changmei, and Jieyang South, and 2 line stations in Denggang and Fugang. Chaoshan Airport Station is included in the Chaozhou East to Chaoshan Airport Section of the East Guangdong Intercity Railway.

The Fort, Yuhu Lake and Jieyang South Station have no wiring, but 2 side platforms. Changmei Station has 4 arrival and departure lines (including the main line) and 2 side platforms. In the follow-up construction, the implementation progress of the project from Jieyang South to Jieyang in the eastern Guangdong intercity should be further implemented to ensure that it will be completed simultaneously with this project.

Denggang Line Station: Chaoshan Airport to Jieyang South Section Main Line Interconnects Shantou to Chaoshan Airport Section Main Line; Fugang Line Station: Chaoshan Airport to Jieyang South Section Main Line Direction Do not outsource and connect Shantou to Jieyang Section Main Line.

The total construction area of the station building and related supporting buildings shall be controlled at 26,000 square meters. Among them, the underground station is 17,750 square meters (including commercial development and 6,370 square meters shared with the railway), and the elevated station is 8,250 square meters. Fortress, Yuhu Station, and Changmei Station adopt the elevated stations in the middle of the road. The construction area of Fortress, Yuhu Station and roadside buildings is controlled at 2385 square meters, and the construction area of Changmei Station station building and roadside buildings is controlled at 3480 square meters. square meter control.

The total construction period of the whole line is tentatively considered as 4.5 years (54 months), of which the Zhongshan Road tunnel section from Shantou to Chaoshan Airport is a control project of the whole line, with a construction period of 41 months. The preliminary design estimate of the project from Chaoshan Airport to the south of Jieyang is 5.56 billion yuan.

Jieyang South to Jieyang Section

The project is led from Jieyang South Station, and is introduced into Jieyang Station of Jiehui Railway via Jieyang Avenue, Huanshi North Road and Ma Ya North Road. The main line has a total length of 12.242 kilometers, with 3 stations including Huangqishan, Qining and Jieyang, among which Jieyang Station is an existing station. Huangqishan and Qining stations are designed as no-distribution stations, with 2 side platforms.

The total construction area of the station building and related supporting buildings is 20,925 square meters. Among them, the underground station is 13,595 square meters, and the above-ground station is 7,330 square meters. Among them, Qining Station is an elevated station in the middle of the road, and the construction area of the station building and roadside buildings is controlled at 2320 square meters. Jieyang Station is a ground station, a new intercity depot is introduced for this line, and the connecting station buildings are arranged side by side on the side of the existing station. The construction area of the comprehensive building of Jieyang Station is controlled at 3,000 square meters; the construction area of the cross-line passenger tunnel is controlled at 2,010 square meters, of which 780 square meters are renovated with existing traffic culverts. This line shares the intercity field with the Jiehui Railway, and the passenger flow shares the tunnels and station buildings. The ticketing system and the organization of passenger flow lines should be considered as a whole. Huangqishan Station is an underground two-story station with a total construction area of 13,595 square meters.

The total construction period of the whole line is temporarily considered as 4.5 years (54 months), of which the civil construction control period is the Rongjiang tunnel, and the construction period is 44 months.
