In 1995, Zhang Jinghua, a girl from Northeast China, graduated from school and entered the Qiqihar Vehicle Factory to become an electric welder. Welding work is always in the midst of smoky fire, very bitter and not very decent. But now that he has done this, Zhang Jinghua thought that he must do it well.

From the initial welding seam that is bent and unqualified like earthworms, to being able to be welded, able to be welded well, and then to perfect welding. Zhang Jinghua, who used to be a "deserter" in the arena, won the first place in the company's vocational skills competition with a score of 100 points in theory and 95.6 points in practice, and won the honor of "chief welder". After that, she participated in the German welding technology training and obtained the International Welding Technician Certificate and Welding Instructor Qualification Certificate.

When the company's exported vehicles were assessed by a foreign party, the current and voltage displays of the on-site electric welding machine were covered with cloth by foreign manufacturing supervisors. It was required that the test board in front of the welding be used to determine the current and voltage values based on experience and where they could be used. Welding, the back of the test plate is cleaned and welded on both sides. Zhang Jinghua, as the representative of the Chinese electric welder, picked up the welding torch and started welding steadily. After welding, he replied: "The current is 130 amps and the voltage is 21 volts, which can be used for vertical welding and overhead welding."

Zhang Jinghua's answer is accurate, the welded test plate is welded on both sides at one time, and the welding joints on both sides are smooth, bright, beautiful and delicate, and there is no need for back cleaning and welding on both sides. Ultrasonic flaw detection showed that there were zero internal defects in the weld. The foreign manufacturing supervisor gave a thumbs up on the spot.

From an ordinary welder to a chief welder and skill expert, he won the China May 1st Labor Medal, the title of China Model Worker, and was elected as the representative of the 13th National People's Congress. Forging ahead all the way, Zhang Jinghua always keeps his original mission in mind.
