On July 27, 2022, the first phase of Xuzhou Metro Line 4 officially started! It is reported that the three lines planned for the first phase of Xuzhou rail transit construction will be connected to the grid in June 2021, and the second phase of Line 3 and the first phase of Line 6 in the second phase of the construction plan will start construction at the end of 2020. The preliminary work of the first phase of the line is progressing smoothly, and the conditions for starting the construction are already in place!

Line 4 Phase I Project

The first phase of Line 4 starts from Qiaoshangcun Station at the intersection of Daxue Road and Zhujiang West Road, and is laid along Daxue Road-Sanhuan South Road-Planning Central Vitality Area-Hanyuan Avenue-Chang'an Avenue-Baolian Temple Road-Pantaoshan Road , the end point is at Tuolanshan Road Station, and extension conditions are reserved for the first and last stations.

The first phase of Line 4 has a total of 19 stations, including 8 transfer stations, which will be transferred to Lines 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and the long-term planned Lines 7 and S3. The total length of the line is 26.2 kilometers. The estimated investment is 18.3 billion yuan. Combined with the rapid transformation of the South Third Ring Road, two stations on Taishan Road and South Third Ring Road have been implemented ahead of schedule.

From Qiaoshangcun Station to Tuolanshan Station, the total length is about 26.2km, and a new Xuhai Road depot is built. The track section passes through many railway lines such as Jinpu Railway and Longhai Railway!

According to reports, the first phase of Xuzhou Metro Line 4 received preliminary design approval in November 2021, and is now entering the stage of relocation and construction drawing design. Up to now, 100% of the enclosure structures of Taishan Road Station and South Sanhuan Road Station of the first phase reserved project of Line 4 are completed, 70% of the foundation pit excavation of Taishan Road Station is completed, 25% of the main structure is completed, and the foundation pit of Sanhuan South Road Station has been completed.
