Bolivia is moving forward with a major road development and improvement project. The program is designed to help boost the country's economy by facilitating transportation and trade.

The Bolivian government has set a budget of $2.05 billion for new road construction works. That's double what Bolivia will spend on improving roads in 2021. A new two-lane link will be built to improve connections between major towns. More rural areas of the country that are not currently paved will also benefit from paving.

At present, Bolivia plans to build 15 key road projects, and 9 projects will be completed. Maintenance and repair work will be carried out at another 49 locations.Editor/XingWentao
