On August 12, 2022, the China Government Procurement Network released the Longnan Municipal Transportation Bureau's announcement on the pre-qualification of the government and social capital cooperation project of Xihe-Dangchang Expressway in Gansu Province. It is one of the system development planning and Gansu Province's "14th Five-Year Plan" highway and waterway transportation development planning projects. The estimated total investment of the project is about 18.846 billion yuan.

Project Overview

The construction project route of Xihe-Dangchang Expressway starts from Shixia Town, Xihe County, connects with G7011 Shitian Expressway at a hub interchange, passes through Daqiao Town and Haolin Township in Xihe County, Leiba Town and Tanping Town in Li County Town, Baihe Town, Hanyuan Township, Dangchang County, Nanyang Town, ending at Linjiangpu Town, Dangchang County, connected with G75 Lanhai Expressway by a hub interchange, the main line project has a total length of 99.848 kilometers. There are a total of 46980m/64 extra large bridges, 707m/14 medium bridges, no small bridges, 504m/2 special bridges with complex technology, 55 culverts; 31020m/16 tunnels; 7 interchanges; bridge-tunnel ratio 79.33 %; the total length of the connecting line is 4.471 kilometers.

Additional works: The Yangmacheng Tunnel and the lead project start from Guanzhugou Scenic Spot and connect to National Highway 212, and the end point to Ma'anshan to Longjiang Avenue, which connects to National Highway 212. The route runs from west to east, with a total length of 2.695 kilometers, of which the tunnel is 1.06 km, the lead is 1.635 km long. The estimated total investment of the project is 151.15 million yuan.

technical standard

The main line of Xihe-Dangchang Expressway adopts the two-way four-lane expressway standard with a design speed of 80 km/h and a subgrade width of 25.5m; the connecting line and additional works adopt a two-way two-lane two-way highway with a design speed of 60 km/h and a subgrade width of 12.0m. The load level is highway-I level; the service life of extra-large, large and medium bridges is 100 years, and the service life of small bridges and culverts is 50 years; the design flood frequency is 1/300 for extra-large bridges, and 1 for large, medium and small bridges and culverts. /100; other technical indicators shall comply with the relevant provisions of the highway engineering technical standards issued by the Ministry of Transport.

Cooperation period: The cooperation period of Xihe-Dangchang Expressway and the additional project (Yangmacheng Tunnel and lead project) is 34 years and 22 years respectively, including the construction period and the operation period.
